About Us

Dirty Wicks was founded by Jayme Drake (yep that's me in the picture).  

One night in 2018 the idea of starting a candle business literally popped into my head (You know them nights when your mind is racing). When I woke up the next morning I remember spending the entire day researching and learning everything I could about candle making.  I have always loved candles so that made this process of starting my own candle business much more exciting!  Now after 2 1/2 years I can finally call myself a self proclaimed Chandler in Chief!

How did I come up with the name Dirty Wicks??? Well I knew I wanted all my candle names to be somewhat TRASHY but yet CLASSY! So Dirty Wicks just seemed to fit perfectly!!! I love to make people smile!!!
